If you are looking for Asif Traders, you have to go down Narol Road and look for the Bombay Hotel. We are situated right behind the New Faisal Nagar Octroi Naka. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the local transporters know us. We do general trading, which means we buy and sell various goods depending on what’s moving in the market. The area around the Octroi Naka is always full of trucks idling and drivers waiting for their paperwork. It gets quite loud and the air is thick with exhaust fumes. Our office is a small room where we keep our records and a couple of chairs for visitors. We usually have a pot of tea going because someone is always dropping by to talk business.
