We are tucked away in Shantipark Society over in Mahavirnagar. Being at 19/A makes us easy to find if you know the society layout. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, so it’s not like those big IT parks in the city. We have our computers set up and we spend most of our time staring at screens. The neighbors are nice, mostly families who’ve lived here for years. Sometimes we have to move the bikes to make space in the lane. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have the windows open. We do a lot of tech support and data work. It isn't flashy. There's always a stack of old keyboards or cables somewhere. We drink a lot of chai from the shop at the corner. The monsoon usually brings some leaks, so we have to watch the equipment. It’s a local business through and through. We know the postman and the grocery guy. Working from a society flat means you see the daily life of the neighborhood while you work on servers or code. It’s a bit cramped when we have a few people over, but it works for us. We've been in Hamatnagar for a good bit of time now. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever tech problems come through the door. The commute is okay, and we like being in this part of town. It feels like home to us.
