Our office is located at F/3 in the Badrika Flats, right behind the Central School in Shahibaug. It is a pretty easy landmark for most people in Ahmedabad. Ashehsh Alkesh & Co. has been in this spot for a good while. We like it here because it feels like a real part of the community. Being near a school means there is always some life outside the window. Inside, it’s a typical accountant’s office. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the hum of the computer fans. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or any of that stuff. When you walk in, you’re likely to see one of us directly. We handle the books and the taxes without making a big fuss about it. Ahmedabad can get really hot, so the AC is usually running full blast during the summer months. It is not a very large office, but it fits what we need. We spend our time checking figures and making sure everything is filed correctly. Sometimes we get behind on our own filing of loose papers, but the client work always gets done. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little corner in Badrika Flats stays pretty much the same. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet. We aren't looking to expand into some giant firm.
