So, our office is located in A 301, Kasturi II, right across from those Aalay Bungalows near the Shyamal Cross Road. Satellite is a really busy part of Ahmedabad, and there is almost always something going on right outside our windows. Our office isn't one of those shiny glass towers you might see in the movies. It is a bit more lived-in than that, with some scratches on the desks and stacks of papers here and there. We mostly do software work, so there are a lot of computers around and the light is usually kept a bit dim to stop the glare on the monitors. On some days, the elevator in the building acts up for no reason, so we end up taking the stairs, which I guess is good for our health. We have been in this specific part of Ahmedabad for quite a while now. The food stalls around Shyamal Cross Road are great for grabbing a quick snack or a tea in the evening. Usually, it is just us typing away or sitting in small meetings trying to figure out some annoying bug in the code. It is not always super exciting work, but it is what we do and we like it. The view from our window is mostly other buildings and the busy street below. We get a lot of bright sun in the afternoons, so we have to keep the blinds down most of the time.
