Anjana Handicrafts

Anjana Handicrafts is located in the Safety Security Industrial Estate. We are near the Kasiram Textile Mills in the Narol area. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise and heavy trucks moving around. It’s a very practical environment. The air is often filled with the smell of textiles and machinery from the nearby mills. Our unit is just one among many, but we’ve made it our own over the years. It’s a large, open space with high ceilings and not much in the way of decoration. We have long tables where we spread out our work. It gets quite hot in the afternoons because the roof is made of metal sheets. We have a few big fans that try to keep the air moving, but they don't always do much. Most of the staff here have been with us for a long time. We eat our lunch together in a small corner we cleared out. We don’t have any fancy office furniture. It’s mostly just metal racks and sturdy workbenches. Narol is a busy, hardworking part of Ahmedabad, and we fit right in. We don’t really have customers coming in to browse. It’s more about the production side of things. We focus on getting the daily targets met and making sure the quality is okay before things are packed up. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense way to run a business.
