Mona Exports

Mona Exports is located at 29, Golden Tulip Bunglows in the Manekbag area of Ambawadi. We are right behind the Shreyas Foundation, which is a big landmark around here. Working out of Ahmedabad means dealing with a lot of heat, especially in the afternoons. Our office is part of a residential-style setup, so it feels more like a home than a corporate building. We’ve been handling exports for quite some time, mostly dealing with fabrics and local goods. It’s a lot of checking quality and making sure everything is packed correctly before it goes out. My family started this, and we’ve kept it small on purpose. We don't want the stress of a massive company. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to track them down. It’s not always glamorous work. There’s a lot of dust and heavy boxes involved. We have a few long-term workers who are like family to us. We usually have our tea together in the courtyard when the weather is nice. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing brochures. We just rely on the people we’ve worked with for years to keep coming back. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on and everyone paid.
