Google Associate

Our place, Google Associate, is in the Rudra Complex over in Ambawadi. It’s a bit of a funny name, but we’ve been working out of this office for a while now. The space is mostly filled with desks and computers, and there’s always a hum of servers or hard drives in the background. We spend our days looking at data and working on various online tasks. Ambawadi is a pretty busy part of town, so there’s usually plenty of places to grab lunch nearby, which is good because we don't have much of a kitchen here. The office isn't very large, so we have to be organized, though my own desk usually has a few too many notebooks on it. We aren't a big corporation; we’re just a small team of people who know their way around the internet. Sometimes the internet connection acts up and we all have to take a break until it comes back, which is when we usually catch up on gossip. We have a few plants by the window that struggle a bit because we forget to water them, but they’re still hanging in there. People sometimes get confused about what we do because of the name, but we just explain it’s mostly digital work. It’s a steady job and we’ve made the office feel like a second home with our own photos and mugs everywhere. It’s just our little workspace in the city where we try to get things done right and keep the computers running.
