Allen Career Institute. Our place is on the 3rd floor of the Purshottam Mahal Complex. It is the Sadhya 2 building specifically. If you know the Jai Hind Cross Road in Maninagar, then you know exactly where we are located. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot in the summer, so that third-floor climb makes you appreciate the shade inside. We are right near the Swaminarayan Tower, which is a massive landmark everyone uses. The Swaminarayan Temple is directly opposite us, so there is always a bit of a crowd and some nice energy from the temple visitors. Being in this part of Ahmedabad - 380008 means there is always something going on outside our windows. The complex itself is quite old and has that lived-in feel. We spend most of our hours here surrounded by books and desks. It is not a flashy office with glass walls; it is more of a functional space for students and staff. The elevators work most of the time, but some of us just take the stairs for the exercise. You can hear the bells from the temple sometimes during the day. It helps mark the time. The Maninagar area is always bustling, and finding parking can be a bit of a headache if you come late. We just make it work. Most people who come to see us are looking for a quiet spot to focus, and that is what we try to keep going here in this part of town.
