All Gift Studio

Our little shop sits right across from the Navrangpura bus stop. It is a very busy area with people constantly getting on and off buses, so we see a lot of different faces every day. We call it All Gift Studio, and it is exactly what it sounds like. The shelves are packed with all sorts of items, from small trinkets to bigger decorative pieces. Sometimes it feels like we have too much stuff in here, and we have to rearrange things just to make a path for customers to walk. We started this because we liked the idea of having a place where someone could pick up a quick present on their way home. My sister spends a lot of time picking out what we should stock, and I handle the customers and the packing. It gets really crowded during festival seasons or when there is a holiday coming up. We don't have a fancy display window, just some of our popular items sitting near the front. The noise from the bus stop is constant, but you get used to the sound of the engines and the conductors shouting. It’s a simple retail life. We enjoy seeing someone find that one specific thing they were looking for. We don't do any big advertisements; we just rely on the people walking by who decide to pop in and see what we have. It’s just us, the gifts, and the daily commute of Navrangpura.
