Our office is tucked away in B-405 of Amrapali III. It’s right here in Ahmedabad, and the 380054 zip code is home to us. It’s a pretty standard Gujarat office building where you see people from all sorts of businesses in the hallways. We’ve set up our space to be functional. There are shelves full of records and desks that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose well enough. We do a lot of info-related work, so there’s always a lot of reading and checking things going on. The windows look out over the neighborhood, and you can hear the city noise if you leave them open. We usually keep them shut because of the dust and heat. It’s not a place where we wear suits every day. Most of us just come in comfortable clothes, ready to deal with whatever tasks are on the list. We have our routines, like who makes the first pot of tea and who checks the mail downstairs. It’s a steady kind of life. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a flashy lobby or expensive furniture. We just want to get through the day’s work and head home. It feels honest to work this way. Amrapali III is a decent place to be based, even if the parking is a bit of a headache sometimes when the building is full. We just take it as it comes.
