Ajd Infotech is currently running out of 10 Upvan Bunglows, which is right behind the Sagar Flats in the Vejalpur area of Ahmedabad. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly quiet during the day, which helps when we need to focus on technical work. We use one of the rooms in the bungalow as our main workspace. There are cables running across the floor and a few monitors set up on the tables. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy reception desk or anything like that. We just come in, sit down, and start working on the computers. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids play cricket out front, so we have to watch out for the ball. It’s a very informal environment. We don’t wear suits or follow a strict schedule; we just make sure the work gets finished. Being in a bungalow feels more comfortable than a cramped office building, even if we have to move the furniture around sometimes to make more space for new equipment. It's just a group of us trying to get through our projects.
