Ajanta Time With Novelties

Our shop, Ajanta Time With Novelties, is located in the Harekrishna Complex. It’s tucked behind Madhavbagh in the Nirnay Nagar area. It’s a local neighborhood spot, so we see a lot of the same faces walking by every day. We carry a mix of different watches and some small novelty items that people like to pick up for their homes or as little gifts. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we stack things on the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass on the display cases because fingerprints show up so easily. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique or anything. We just provide regular items for regular people. If a watch needs a new battery or the strap is worn out, people bring it to us. We’ve got a small workbench in the corner where most of that work happens. It’s a bit messy with tiny screws and tools, but we know where everything is. The lighting in the complex can be a bit dim in the evenings, but we keep our shop bright. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we wait for customers to stop in and chat for a bit. It is just a normal shop run by normal people.
