Aditya Farms

Aditya Farms is situated in Meghmani House, which is near the Ashoknagar bus stand on New Vikas Gruh Road in Paldi. It’s a fairly easy place to find because the bus stand is such a big landmark. We work from an office here, though our hearts are usually out in the fields. It’s a bit of a mix of city life and farm business. We have a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. The office isn't very fancy; it has old desks and chairs that have been around for a long time. We spend our days talking to growers and figuring out the logistics of the farm operations. It gets pretty busy around harvest time, and the phones don't stop ringing then. We aren't corporate types; we’re just people who understand how the land works. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped with all the samples and files, but we manage. We like being in Paldi because it’s a central spot for us to coordinate everything. There is a small tea shop nearby where we usually go to talk over our plans for the next season. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when the weather changes suddenly or a transport truck is delayed. We just take it in stride and keep moving forward. It’s a practical business, run by people who aren't afraid to get their boots dirty when they need to.
