Ad World Gujarat is tucked away at 325 in Ratna High Street. If you know the Naranpura Police Chowky, then you know exactly where we are located. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. The office is a bit cramped with all the paper and samples we keep lying around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at these old desks trying to coordinate things. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and we know the shortcut through the back lanes when the main road is blocked. Advertising isn’t always like what you see on TV. For us, it’s mostly about making sure the prints come out right and the sizes are what the client asked for. Sometimes we make mistakes, and we stay late to fix them. The air conditioner in the corner makes a weird clicking sound but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be some massive agency with a glass building. We like being here in Naranpura. It’s easy for people to drop by and chat about what they need. Usually, someone is eating lunch at their desk while typing away. We don’t have any fancy reception area. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a simple way to work, and it keeps us busy enough to keep the lights on and the printers running. We usually have a stack of old newspapers in the corner.
