We run this computer training center out of a row house in the Ghodasar area. Specifically, it is A 3 Sainath Row House, which is right off the 132 Ft Ring Road. Being so close to the Ghodasar police chowky makes it pretty simple for students to find us without getting lost. Inside, we have rows of older computers set up where people come to learn things like basic typing, office software, or more difficult programming languages. The rooms get pretty hot because of all the machines running at once, so we keep the fans going all day long. It is a local business through and through, so we know most of the families who live on this street. We are not one of those big corporate training chains you see in the city center. We are just here in Ahmedabad trying to help people pick up some useful skills for their jobs. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, and we just have to wait it out and talk to the students until the lights come back on. It is a very practical and simple place. We don't have fancy office furniture, just some basic desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. My family started this because we saw a real need for it in this neighborhood. We stay open quite late for the evening batches because most people work during the day.
