A.B. Panchal & Co. is at 13, Ajmery Estate on Dudheswar Road, right near the Dhobighat. This is one of those older parts of the city where the streets are narrow and everything feels very lived-in. Our workshop has been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. We do a lot of traditional machining and part manufacturing. It’s a hands-on kind of place, so don’t expect a clean-room environment. There is usually grease on the rags and the sound of heavy metal hitting metal. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, and we all know the routine by heart. The area around Dhobighat is always bustling, and you can hear the sounds of the city all day long. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished website; most of our work comes from people who know us or who have been told about us by other local businesses. It’s the kind of place where a handshake still means something and we just get on with the job at hand. The office part of the shop is just a small corner with a desk and a few chairs where we handle the billing and talk to the regulars who drop by to check on their orders or just say hello.
