C.C. Gandhi & Co.

C.C. Gandhi & Co. is up on the 9th floor of the Sumeru Centre in Paldi. We are right near the Suvidha Shopping Centre, which is a busy landmark for anyone in this part of Ahmedabad. Being on the 9th floor means we have a decent view of the city, though we don’t spend much time looking out the window. The office is usually full of files and ledgers stacked on the desks. We’ve been here for a while, and the elevators in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour. It’s a typical professional space, nothing too flashy. We have a few old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. The morning starts with opening the mail and sorting through the day's tasks. It’s mostly quiet work, punctuated by the sound of phones ringing or the printer going. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain. It’s just a door with our name on it and a small waiting area for visitors. People usually come to us because they’ve known us for years. Paldi is a central area, so it’s easy for people to reach us, even if parking downstairs can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We try to keep things organized, but the paperwork has a way of piling up. It’s just the nature of what we do. We stay until the work is done and then head home.
