Our place is on the first floor of Asia House, which sits right near Swastik Char Rasta in the Navarangpura area. If you know that intersection, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and scooters constantly buzzing by. We’ve been at unit 24 for a while, and the walls have seen plenty of long days. It’s a basic setup really. We come in, switch on the lights, and start going through whatever is on the desk from the day before. The building itself is older, but it has some character to it, even if the stairs feel a bit steep on a hot afternoon. We don’t have any big flashy signs or a modern lobby. It’s mostly just us working at our desks, taking phone calls, and dealing with the usual paperwork that comes with running a business like this. Lunch usually involves someone going out to grab something from one of the stalls nearby, or we just eat at the back while looking at the files. It gets a little cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in at once, but we manage just fine. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by, even if the noise from the Char Rasta never really stops until late at night. We just focus on getting the job done right so we can head home on time.
