Our place, A And Idc, is located at 5, Sumangal Society on Drive In Road here in Ahmedabad. If you know the area, we are tucked behind the Mega Mart showroom and right across from the Drive In petrol pump. It’s a convenient spot because almost everyone knows where the petrol pump is. We work out of a society house, so it’s got a bit more character than a standard office building. There’s usually a bit of noise from the main road, but we don’t mind. Inside, we have our workstations set up where we handle architecture and interior design tasks. We spend a lot of time looking at samples of wood, glass, and stone. It gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We aren't the type to use big, complicated words to explain a design. We just show you the drawings and explain why things are where they are. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to take a break, but mostly we are glued to our desks. We’ve been part of the Drive In Road community for a long time. People drop by to chat about their new homes or renovations. We just listen and try to sketch out something that makes sense for them. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the process of seeing a sketch turn into a real room. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just good solid work.
