Over at Siddhi Precision Components And Accessories Pvt. Ltd., we spend our days at E-2/1 in the Midc area of Ahmednagar. It’s a decent-sized place but it feels smaller when we are busy. We have a lot of machines packed into the floor space. Precision is a big word in our name, but to us, it just means being careful with the measurements and not rushing the job. The guys on the shop floor have good eyes for detail. We deal with a lot of small parts and accessories, so there are bins and crates everywhere you look. It’s easy to trip if you aren't looking where you are going. Ahmednagar gets quite hot, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We have a small office area near the entrance where the paperwork gets handled. It’s usually covered in drawings and notes. We don't have any fancy coffee machines; we just use the kettle in the corner. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we have a good local feel. We aren't a corporate giant with a thousand rules. We just have a way of doing things that works for us. The building has been here for years, and it shows a bit of age, but it’s sturdy. We keep the machines running and the floor swept as best we can. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, but that's just part of it.
