Cropel Agri Seeds & Cold Storage Private Limited is based at 433, G.I.D.C. in Odhav. We are located right near Bhikshuk Gruh. Being in a G.I.D.C. area means it is very industrial and loud. There are trucks moving in and out all day long. Our facility is a large one because we have the cold storage part as well as the seed business. It’s a very practical building with thick walls to keep the temperature right. We spend a lot of time monitoring the cooling systems and checking the bags of seeds. The office is tucked into one side of the warehouse. It’s a bit cramped with all the logbooks and equipment manuals. We don't have any polished floors or fancy art. It's all concrete and metal around here. Most of us wear heavy boots and work clothes. The dust from the industrial area is something we just deal with every day. We handle a lot of volume, so there’s always someone shouting directions or checking a manifest. It’s not a quiet place to work, but it’s where the action is. We focus on keeping the storage at the right temperature and making sure the seeds don't spoil. It’s hard work and it’s often very long hours. We just stay busy and keep the operations running as smoothly as the machines allow. That is pretty much our life here in the Odhav industrial zone.
