Choukrat Agro Foods Private Limited

Our small business, Choukrat Agro Foods Private Limited, is based at 75 B Prahlad Nagar. We work with food products coming straight from the farms. It’s a local setup, nothing too fancy or corporate. We started this because we saw a lot of good food being grown around us and thought we should be the ones handling it. Prahlad Nagar is where we spend our days, mostly dealing with deliveries and making sure everything is stored right. We don't have a big staff with titles and departments. It’s just a few of us doing the work that needs to be done. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk, but other days it’s non-stop from the moment we open the door. We don't use flashy advertisements. Most people find us just by knowing someone else who works with us. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. We have our routines and we stick to them. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the truck is late, and we just have to deal with it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent food business here in the neighborhood. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the land and the people who grow our food. It can be stressful when things get backed up, but we just take it one day at a time and keep moving.
