Finding our office at the Shree Vrindavan Building in Sanjay Place is usually easy enough if you know which block to look for. We are situated on the first floor at E-12/8. It is a typical office space, maybe a little bit cramped when we have a lot of product samples lying around on the tables, but it works for what we need to do. Sanjay Place is always buzzing with people and traffic, so there is a lot of noise and energy right outside our windows. We spend most of our time managing the production side of things and making sure the schedules don’t fall behind. It involves a lot of coordination between the office here and the actual making of the goods. There is usually a pot of tea going somewhere and someone is almost always on a phone call with a supplier. We do not have any of those modern decorations you see in office magazines; it is more about desks, computers, and stacks of paper. The walls have a few scuffs from us moving furniture around over the years. We deal with various industrial tasks and it involves a lot of checking and re-checking every small detail. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is wrapping up, and the whole building gets quiet while we finish up the final paperwork. It is a very straightforward way of working. We are not trying to be something we are not. We just show up every morning and do the work.
