You can find us at 8/227 in Hing Ki Mandi. It’s right near the famous shoe market, specifically close to Gate No 2. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how packed it gets. There are people everywhere and motorcycles weaving through the lanes. Our space is tucked in there among all the other shops. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to fit everything we need. Most of our day is spent dealing with boxes and paperwork. Since we are so close to the shoe market, there is always noise and movement outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking, so we usually just walk or use a cycle. The building itself is quite old, with those narrow stairs that you have to be careful on. We keep a small kettle for making tea in the corner. The walls have some old calendars hanging on them from years ago. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just us doing our daily tasks and trying to stay organized in the middle of the market chaos. Most people who come to see us are looking for specific items, and we just point them to the right stack. It gets humid in the monsoon season, but we just keep the door open.
