Gupta Overseas

Gupta Overseas is located right near Tubewell Colony, just off the Bye Pass Road. It is a noisy spot because of all the trucks going by, but we got used to the sound long ago. We have been working out of this space for a long time. My family started this, and we just kept going with it. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of papers and old ledgers that we probably should have filed away years ago. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly stuff coming and going. The Bye Pass Road location is handy for that since the drivers don’t have to go all the way into the middle of town. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, no matter how much we sweep. It is just part of being in this area. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know where everything is, even when I don’t. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to make sure the work is finished by the end of the day so we can go home to our families. Some days are slower than others, but we usually find something to keep our hands busy. It is a simple life here. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of work to do. We keep the kettle going for tea throughout the afternoon because it helps everyone stay focused. It’s a good enough life for us.
