Savitridevi Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Moosepur, Maharajpur, which is in the Tehsil Fatehabad area. We work out of Surendra Singh’s place. The name Savitridevi is important to us, and we try to honor that by doing honest work with our organic farming. We aren't some big city company; we are just local farmers from Fatehabad who wanted to organize ourselves a bit better. Moosepur is where most of us have our fields, so it made sense to keep the office right here. Surendra Singh handles a lot of the coordination, but everyone chips in when it’s time to harvest or plant. Organic farming is a bit more work than the regular kind because you have to pay more attention to the pests and the soil health without using quick fixes. We spend a lot of our time walking the rows and talking about which techniques are working best. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the crops don't turn out like we hoped, but that’s farming. We don't have a marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people knowing us in the Maharajpur area. We focus on being a steady group for the farmers here. It’s a straightforward operation where we just try to do right by the land and each other. If you visit, you'll probably find us sorting seeds or talking about the weather.
