D C Agarwal Sons

You can find us in Shastri Nagar, on Khandari Road. D C Agarwal Sons is the name on the board, but most people just know us as the local spot for whatever they need. The shop is at 6/6-B. It’s a regular street with houses and other small businesses around. We’ve seen kids grow up in this neighborhood. The shop isn't anything like those big malls. It’s a bit cluttered and the shelves have been there for years. We don't really have a big staff. It's usually just a few of us handling the customers. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a very slow and steady kind of place. We don’t rush anyone. Sometimes we have to look through the back room to find exactly what someone is asking for. It’s a bit of a treasure hunt at times. The building is older and has that familiar smell of a long-standing business. We don't use a lot of technology for everything. A lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way with pens and ledgers. We know our customers by name quite often. It’s just how we like to run things here. There's no pressure and no corporate talk. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes by.
