Mertia'S Icescaps (Opc) Private Limited is located over on Shamshabad Road in Agra. We’ve got Shop 1 in Nehru Enclave, right near Wadhwa Nagar. Agra gets incredibly hot in the summer, so being in the icescaps business makes sense, even if it’s a lot of pressure to keep things cold. Our shop is in a busy spot, Khasra 2A and 2B. We spend a lot of our time worried about the power going out because that’s the worst thing that can happen in our line of work. It’s an OPC, so it’s mostly just me running the show with one or two guys helping out when things get really busy. The shop isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need right now. I spend a lot of time cleaning up after the day is done. It’s hard work and my back usually hurts by the time I lock up at night. The traffic on Shamshabad Road is always a mess, which makes getting deliveries in a bit of a gamble. You never know if the truck will be ten minutes late or two hours late. We just take it as it comes. It’s not a fancy life, but Agra is home and the business is growing slowly. We just try to keep the machines running and the customers happy. Most of the time, that's more than enough to worry about.
