Divyash Computer Center

My shop is called Divyash Computer Center, and you can find us in Gamari Village. We are right near the Airport Drop Zone, so we hear planes taking off all the time. It’s a small place in a quiet part of the village. I set it up about five years ago because there wasn't much for computer help around here. I have about six desks with computers for people to use, and I also do repairs in the back. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they've stayed that way for a while now. I spend a lot of time teaching older folks how to use the internet or helping students with their projects. It’s a basic setup. I don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum a bit. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real pain, but we have a small backup for the main machines. People from Gamari know me well, and they usually just drop by without calling first. I like the community feel of it. It’s not like a big city shop where everything is fast and impersonal. We take our time. I’m usually here from nine in the morning until late evening. It’s a steady life. I just want to keep the computers running and help out whoever walks in. I think it’s important to have a place like this nearby so people don't have to travel so far for simple things.
