Jyoti Selection & Garment House

My family has been running Jyoti Selection & Garment House here in Agartala for quite some time now. We're over in the main part of town, near the usual spots everyone goes to. It started out small, just a few racks of clothes and some basic things people needed for weddings or festivals. Over the years, we just kept adding more. It’s a busy place, especially when the holidays come around. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with boxes and new stock arriving from the suppliers. You know how it is in Agartala, people like to come in, look at the fabric, and talk for a bit before they decide on anything. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. Most people know us because their parents shopped here, and now they bring their kids. We have stuff for men, women, and children, mostly everyday wear but some nicer outfits too if you’re looking for something for a party. The shop opens early, and we stay late if there are customers still browsing. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just keep the doors open and carry on. It’s just a normal shop where we try to have enough variety so you don't have to go to five different places to find a simple shirt or a pair of pants.
