Orient Cement

Our place is right on Devapur Main Road. It’s a pretty straightforward setup here. The road outside stays busy with trucks and heavy vehicles passing by at all hours. You can usually tell what time of day it is just by how much dust is kicking up from the street. We open the doors early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high and the heat starts to settle in. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there isn't much in the way of scenery, just a lot of grey and the sound of engines. We spend a lot of our time checking stocks and talking to drivers who are heading out or coming in. The office is small, mostly filled with ledgers and a few chairs for visitors. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure the daily tasks get done. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out, maybe have some chai from the stall down the road. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit repetitive. We know most of the people who pass by this way regularly. Rain makes the road a mess, which is always a headache for moving things around, but we manage. There's always something to fix or a load to count. It's just a regular day-to-day operation in Devapur. We've been at this for years and it suits us.
