Aruna Kirana Shops

Our shop is located in the Old Colony area of Kaghaznagar. It’s a quiet enough spot, mostly families living nearby who come in for their daily supplies. We carry the usual things you’d expect at a kirana store like pulses, rice, cooking oils, and all the small household stuff people run out of during the week. Aruna Kirana Shops has been part of this neighborhood for a while, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s not one of those big supermarkets where everything is shiny and cold; it’s just a regular store with shelves stocked high. Sometimes it gets a little crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work, but we try to get through the line quickly. We keep track of what the locals like to buy and try to keep those items in stock so nobody has to go all the way into the main town for a bag of sugar or some tea leaves. The building isn't fancy, just a simple shop front on the street. We open early and stay open until most people have finished their dinner shopping. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and counting change, but it keeps us busy and connected to the colony. If you live around Kaghaznagar, you’ve probably passed us plenty of times. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the prices fair for the neighbors who shop here every day without fail.
