Sreshta Engineering Works is over here at 7-8-324 in Gowtham Nagar. If you walk down Road No 1 in Ferozguda, you’ll find us easily. The shop is usually pretty loud because of the machines running most of the day. We spend a lot of time working with different metal parts and fixing things that people bring in. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with all the welding going on, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. Usually, there are a few of us here getting our hands greasy and trying to keep up with the work piled on the benches. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything like that. Just a few plastic stools and a lot of heavy tools scattered around where we need them. Sometimes the floor gets messy with metal shavings and old scraps, but we try to sweep up when we get a chance. People from around the neighborhood stop by to ask about repairs or just to see how things are going. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now and know most of the faces around here. It’s a busy corner of Ferozguda. We just keep our heads down and get the jobs done one by one. There is always something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be turned on the lathe. It's just honest work in a noisy shed. It is not always perfect, but we do what we can.
