Pepoles Coop Bankhingoli Multi State Bank

I am Kunal Ashokrao Nichat and I work out of Viraj Nagar in Digras. This is part of the Yavatmal district, which is a quiet enough place most days. The bank is a multi-state cooperative, which sounds like a lot, but really it is just about helping the local folks with their money and savings. We are located right here in 445203, and it is a place where everyone knows everyone else. I have been here for a while now. Some days are busier than others, especially when the farmers come in after the harvest or when people need to sort out their accounts for the month. We do not have those fancy glass buildings you see in Mumbai or Pune. It is just a practical office where we sit and talk to people across the counter. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, and the fans overhead do not always keep the heat away in the summer, but we manage. People trust us because we are neighbors. We are not trying to sell anyone things they do not need. We just look at the numbers and help out where we can. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are not from the area, but for those of us in Digras, it is just home. I usually open up early and stay until the last person is sorted. That is just how we do things.
