Doctor

This clinic is located in Laxmi Nagar, right here in Digras. People usually just call it the doctor's office because that's what we are. It’s a simple place in the Yavatmal district. We open up early because that’s when the patients start arriving from the nearby villages. It’s not a big fancy hospital, just a local spot where we try to help out. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time looking after people instead. We’ve been in this part of Maharashtra for quite some time now. You’ll find us easily if you know the Laxmi Nagar area. Sometimes it gets quite loud outside with the traffic, but inside we try to keep things calm. We have a couple of chairs in the waiting area, but they fill up fast. We don't have a big website or a social media page. Most people just walk in or ask their neighbors for the address. We handle all sorts of small health issues every day. It’s a lot of work, but it feels right to be here in Digras. Sometimes the rainy season makes it hard for people to travel, so those days are a bit slower. We just take it one patient at a time and try to do a decent job for the community here. The rain often leaks a bit near the door but we just put a towel down.
