J. B. Industries

J. B. Industries is located at 66-67 in Durga Garden, which is over in Jagadhri. It’s a decent-sized space since we have two plots joined together. Being in Durga Garden means we are in a part of town that has a mix of homes and small businesses. It’s usually fairly calm compared to the main market areas. We have a lot of floor space for our machines and materials. The gates stay open during the day to let the breeze in, though in summer it’s mostly just hot air. We don't have a fancy front office; our desks are right there near the action. You can smell the metal and the oil when you walk in. It’s a working environment, so there is always some dust and the sound of tools being used. We’ve got a small area where we sit for lunch and have our tea breaks. The walls are painted a plain color, and we have calendars hung up to keep track of the dates. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do here. Most of the guys have been with us for years, so we don't need to say much to each other to get things moving. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and make sure everything is locked up tight before we head home in the evening. It’s just a normal, hardworking shop in Jagadhri. We like the quiet of this street.
