B S Model School

B S Model School is situated in the village of Garhi Kotaha, right near Raipur Rani and Balwant Singh Colony. It is a very local kind of place. Most of the children who come here live in the village or just a short walk away. We are not a big institution with hundreds of staff members. It is just a small team of us looking after the building and the classes. The school is located in a quiet spot, which is nice for teaching because there isn't much traffic noise from the main road. We have a few rooms and a small area where the kids can run around during their break. Sometimes the goats from the nearby houses wander near the gate, but we just shoo them away. The building is basic, just brick and mortar with some fans to keep the heat off in the summer. We spend our days teaching the basics like math and science. It is nothing fancy, just steady work every day. The parents in the village know us well, and we often chat with them when they come by the Balwant Singh Colony area. We do not have a big website or shiny brochures to hand out. People just know we are here because they see the kids in their uniforms walking down the road every morning. It is a simple life running a school in a village, but we stay busy with the kids and their lessons.
