We spend most of our time here on Main Road in Afzalpur. It’s a busy spot right by Pramod Cloth Stores, which most people around here use as a landmark. We handle the sugar side of things for The Ugar Sugar Works Ltd. It’s not a fancy office at all, just a practical place where we get the work done every single day. Dealing with sugar involves a lot of paperwork and talking to people who come in from the surrounding farms. The Karnataka weather can get quite tough, especially in the summer, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in through the door, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We've been at this for a good while. The sugar business is steady work, though it has its ups and downs depending on the season. We don't really do any marketing or advertising. People just find us here when they need to talk about their orders. It’s pretty straightforward for us. We open up the shutters in the morning, handle the logistics, and try to get home before it gets too late in the evening. There isn't much else to say other than we're just a local part of a much bigger operation. If you walk past the cloth store, you'll see our sign. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the sugar moves along to where it needs to go.
