Down at Ganpati Market near Orient Chowmushni in Agartala, you’ll find our little education center. It’s a lively part of town, always people moving around and shops opening up early. We set this place up because we wanted a spot where students could come and get some extra help with their studies. It’s not a fancy school, just a few rooms with whiteboards and benches. We spend our afternoons and evenings here, mostly. During the exam season, the place is packed, and you can hear the murmur of students practicing their lessons from the hallway. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who care about how the local kids are doing. The market noise can be a bit much sometimes, but the students don't seem to mind once they get focused. We keep a lot of books around, and sometimes we stay late to help a student who is really struggling with a math problem or some English grammar. It’s just a plain, useful place for the community. We aren't promising anything impossible, just a quiet-ish space to learn and someone to explain the hard parts of the syllabus. It feels good when someone passes their tests after coming here for a few months. That’s why we do it.
