Chokhreng Organic Producer Company Limited is located in Balaram Thakur Para, which is part of Jirania in West Tripura. We work out of Subod Debbarma’s place. We are a small group of local farmers who decided to team up. Growing things organically in this climate can be a challenge, but we find it's better for the soil in the long run. We don't have a corporate office with secretaries and fancy furniture. It is just a few of us sitting around a table, planning out the next planting season. Most of our day is spent outdoors, tending to the crops and making sure the organic standards are met. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We don't use flashy advertisements or try to act like we’re a huge company. We’re just local folks from Jirania trying to make a living. Sometimes the market is good, and sometimes it isn't, but we stick together either way. We handle everything from the seeds to the final packing right here in our village. It takes a lot of cooperation among the neighbors to make this work. If you are looking for us, we are right there in Balaram Thakur Para. We don't offer anything fancy, just the results of our labor on the land. We just take things as they come and try to do our best.
