If you go down to D.No.1-13 in Pennada, you will find Yashomala Farming & Tourism Pvt Ltd. It’s right in the middle of Palakoderu Mandal. We spend most of our days out in the fields or looking after the grounds. It is a mix of growing things and having people come over to see the place. The air is much better out here than in the cities. We have a few different plots of land that we manage. Sometimes the weather doesn't go our way, and we have to work twice as hard to save the crops. We aren't a big resort, just a practical farming spot that also does tourism. People come to get away from the noise. I spend a lot of time checking the irrigation pipes and making sure the paths are clear. We don't have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day I might be planting seeds and the next I am showing a family where the post office is. Pennada is a small place, so we know all the neighbors. We use basic tools and try to keep things as natural as we can. It’s a long day that usually starts before the sun is even up. By the time the evening comes, everyone is pretty exhausted. It is a quiet life, but there is always something that needs fixing or watering to keep things alive.
