Vishnupriya Modern Rice Mills

Vishnupriya Modern Rice Mills is located over in Jangareddiguemm, right near the Old Bus Stand on Kovvur Road. Our official door number is 2-198. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of activity nearby. You hear the buses coming and going all day long. It's a very central spot in West Godavari District. We deal with a lot of paddy here. The "modern" part of our name comes from the newer machines we installed to help with the de-husking process. It’s much more efficient than what was used twenty years ago. The work involves a lot of lifting and checking the moisture in the grain. We have a small group of workers who have been here a long time. We mostly just keep to ourselves and get the jobs done as they come in. The West Godavari heat can be pretty intense, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before it gets too bad. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. If people need their rice milled, they just bring it down to Kovvur Road. We’ve been at this location so long that people in the area just know who we are. It’s a practical business and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than what it is. We’re just here running the mill and living our lives in Jangareddiguemm.
