Sri Vijayalakshmi Rice Mill

Sri Vijayalakshmi Rice Mill is located at Pl.No.2-78/10 in Penumadam Village, which is part of the Attili Mandal area. We are tucked away in a more rural setting, which is exactly where a rice mill should be. Our neighbors are mostly farms and other small local businesses. The mill is a straightforward operation. We don't have any shiny glass walls or modern art in the lobby. In fact, we don't really have a lobby at all. You just walk in and you’re in the middle of the workspace. There are piles of grain and bags being moved around most of the day. The sound of the machinery is something you just get used to after a while. We have a few people who handle the loading and others who keep the machines running. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, especially when the harvest comes in. We keep our records in a simple office that’s basically just a desk and a couple of chairs. It isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. We are just local folks trying to run a decent mill in Penumadam. We don't make big promises or use any polished language. We just show up every morning, do our work, and hope for a good season. That’s about all there is to it for us here at the mill.
