Grand Krishna

Our business, Grand Krishna, is located at 1-3-45 in Jangareddigudem. We are very easy to find because we are right near the HP petrol bunk. Most people in town use the bunk as a landmark anyway. It’s a basic setup we have here. We don't go in for anything fancy or modern. The building is an older style, and we’ve been using it for quite a few years now. The heat in Jangareddigudem can be pretty intense, so we have these big ceiling fans that run all day long. They make a bit of a whirring noise, but you stop noticing it after a while. We mainly deal with local customers who come in for their regular stuff. It’s a lot of face-to-face interaction, which is nice. I handle the main part of the work and my nephew helps out with the heavier tasks and the accounts. We still write most of our sales in a big paper ledger because we don't really trust the computers too much. It’s worked for us so far. The area around the petrol bunk is always moving with cars and bikes, so there is never a dull moment looking out the front door. We don't have any big mission or corporate goals; we just want to make sure the people who come here get what they need without any fuss. We open early in the morning and close up once things quiet down in the evening. It’s a steady, quiet way to make a living.
