Finance Executive

You can find me right at the Gandhi Statue Centre in Denduluru. My father is M. Chandra Rao, so many people in this part of West Godavari know our family name well. Currently, I work as a finance executive here. Because the statue is such a big landmark for everyone, the area stays pretty busy. My office space isn't anything special to look at. Mostly, it is just a small room where I keep my books and various documents. A lot of my time is spent looking at interest rates or helping people with their loan applications. Even with the noise from the street coming in through the window, I can still focus. You get used to the sound of the horns and people talking after a while. I’ve been in Denduluru for the majority of my life and I like that I can walk to work most days. There isn't a big team helping me out here. It’s basically just me sitting there, checking and double-checking the figures on the page. Since mistakes with money are so hard to fix, I prefer to take things slow. People come by and we sit for a bit to chat. Sometimes we talk about the weather or local news before actually getting down to the finance work. That makes the whole thing feel more personal. I’m not trying to run some huge corporation. I just want to provide a decent place for my neighbors to get their matters sorted. We do what we can.
