Sunrise Furnishers

If you have ever been to Kirti Nagar, you know it is the place to go when you need anything for your house. We are right in the middle of it at number 67 in the Furniture Block. It is a loud and crowded part of Delhi, but we have been here at Sunrise Furnishers for so long that we don't even notice the noise anymore. Our shop is packed with all kinds of stuff, from sofas to beds, and sometimes it feels like a maze trying to walk through the aisles. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to talk to customers. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Often, someone will come in with a very specific idea, and we spend a long time trying to find the right fabric or wood tone for them. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but that is just how it goes in this business. Our workers in the back are always busy with something, whether it’s fixing a hinge or polishing a table top. We don't have a polished corporate look. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, and the ceiling fans hum all day long. Most people find us because they were walking down the street and liked what they saw in the window. We just keep things simple and try to be honest about what we can do.
