Spiceroot Weddings

Spiceroot Weddings is based out of Janakpuri. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that weddings are a lot of work for everyone involved. We handle the planning and the small details so people don't have to stress as much as they normally would. It’s not like those movies where everything is perfect from the start; there’s always something that needs fixing at the last minute. We spend a lot of time on the phone with vendors and checking on decorations. Janakpuri is a good base for us because we can get to most parts of the city fairly easily without too much trouble. Our office is more of a workspace where we keep all our notes, fabric samples, and long lists. It can get pretty cluttered when we have three weddings in one weekend. We aren't some big high-end agency with a polished showroom. We just meet people, listen to what they want, and try to make it happen without going over budget. It’s a lot of running around, especially during the peak season when it feels like we never sleep at all. We’ve seen all sorts of weddings, from small ones in a backyard to big hall events. Every one of them is a bit different. We just try to stay practical and solve problems as they come up. It’s a tough business but it’s nice when it all comes together in the end.
