Shivam Jent House Decorators & Caterers

Our place is in Vikaspuri, specifically at Dg-Ii/247A. We’ve been handling tents and catering for years now. The name on the sign says Jent House, which was a bit of a mistake when it was made, but we just kept it that way because people already knew us. We aren't some big company with a lot of managers. It’s just us doing the actual work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the fabrics and making sure the catering plates are spotless. When someone has a function, we head over with the poles and the cloth and start building. It’s like a giant puzzle every time. The catering is mostly traditional food. We don't do any of that tiny, fancy stuff; we just serve good portions of what people like to eat at weddings. The kitchen can get a bit messy when we are preparing for three hundred people, but we always clean it up after. We don’t really do marketing. Most of our work comes from people walking by the shop or seeing us at another party. It’s a lot of long hours, especially on weekends when everyone seems to have an event at the same time. We just keep our heads down and get the tents up. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves right there on the spot. It's a simple life and we like keeping it that way.
