Shilati Developers Private Limited is located over in Guru Harikishan Nagar at Plot 63. West Delhi is a busy place to be a developer, but we like it here. It’s where we started and where most of our work happens. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass building. We work out of a regular office where the fans are usually humming and there’s always a stack of blueprints on someone’s desk. Developing land and building houses involves a lot of waiting for approvals and talking to contractors who might or might not show up on time. It’s a bit of a headache sometimes, honestly. But when a project actually starts taking shape, it feels worth it. We try to be honest about what can be done and what can't. There’s no point in overpromising because then everyone just ends up annoyed. We spend a lot of time visiting sites and making sure the laborers have what they need. It’s dusty work and can be pretty exhausting in the peak of summer. We've had our share of setbacks, like everyone else, but we keep pushing forward. Our office isn't hard to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We usually have someone around during the day, unless we’re all out on a site visit. It’s just us doing our part in the building trade, one brick at a time, really. We just want to get things done right.
