Our office is tucked away on the 2nd floor of Tirath Singh Tower, specifically room 211. It’s part of the DDA Community Centre at C-58 Shahpuri in Janakpuri. New Delhi is a huge, sprawling place, and Janakpuri has its own fast pace that we’ve become a part of. We spend our time developing estates and dealing with all the land stuff that comes with it. It involves a lot of sitting around large tables looking at maps and checking government records. The office is usually filled with the sound of the printer going and people talking over each other about site visits. We don't try to look like a big fancy corporation. Our desks are covered in files and we usually have a few half-empty cups of tea sitting around. Real estate in Delhi is complicated, with a lot of rules and unexpected delays, but we’ve been around long enough to not get too bothered by it. We just handle the permits, talk to the contractors, and try to keep everything on track. Some days we are stuck in the office all day, and other days we are out at a dusty site in the heat. It’s just the way it goes. We don't have a grand mission; we just want to get the buildings finished and the paperwork signed so everyone can move on to the next thing. It is just basic, hard work for our small team.
